Data Science Lightning Talks: November Edition

FIRST [E.A.D] EEG AIDED DETECTION.pdf

On 9/11/22, I presented my work in front of machine learning researchers and data scientists at North Eastern University , I was given this opportunity by the VanTech Data Science Community.

It is called Lightning Talks as the presenter has 7 mins to present and this is followed by 10 mins for questions. I had presented at Borealis AI using 30pt fonts on 10 slides for 20 mins, 7 mins sounded like an overkill.

Matthew Emery, my presentation sensei suggested to predict the questions and add the information in the appendix, I became keen when he said the satisfaction of doing this right is 10:1 or greater.

I joined the VanTech community in 2018 during my sophomore years at university and was intrigued by this space where data scientists come and share their experiences and answer questions. Over the next 4 years, this community built my knowledge ,gave me the tools and an audience to present my work. It felt great to give back to the community but it felt much greater to accurately predict a question from the audience.
